Overview
Dalata Hotel Group, Ireland’s largest hotel chain, have signed an Agreement for Lease, subject to planning for the development of a new 300 bed Maldron Hotel in Glasgow city centre.
The proposed hotel, with bar, restaurant and business conferencing facilities will be centrally located on Renfrew Street close to the main shopping district on Sauchiehall Street, is adjacent to the Theatre Royal and a short distance from Buchanan Bus Station.
The c. £ 40 million project, which is subject to approval from Glasgow City Council, is projected to be delivered by mid-2021, representing Dalata’s first Maldron hotel in Scotland.
