Located alongside Belfast Grand Central Station – a NI Executive flagship project, the largest integrated transport hub in Ireland, Weavers Cross is a Regeneration Through Reconnection project. The master plan will reconnect the city locally, nationally, and internationally.

Translink, Northern Ireland’s public transport provider and landowner, appointed MRP as private sector and master-development partner in August 2023 to develop 1.5 million sq. ft of mixed-use offices, life sciences, residential, student housing, hotels and retail/leisure space including Saltwater Square, Worx Innovation Campus, and Flax Yards.

The project presents a unique opportunity to transform and regenerate a current brownfield site and create a new destination in the heart of the city.

Belfast Grand Central Station is set to be the largest fully integrated, sustainable transport hub on the island of Ireland with direct bus, coach, and train links throughout Northern Ireland, connections to all major international airports and to Dublin.
