161 Drury Lane is a flagship office building in the heart of the west end. We will restore, reuse, and retrofit the current building to transform it into a modern, energy efficient Grade A office space. McAleer and Rushe are proposing to refurbish the existing building. This includes replacement of the current 4th floor facade and adding a new 5th floor alongside alterations to the ground floor appearance.
This is in order improve the quality of office space and the external appearance. This project will target a BREEAM Excellent rating, and a range of Sustainability features have been incorporated into the design. The project will commence on the 9th September 2024 and the duration will be approximately 11 months.

Community Engagement
It is important that the local community and key stakeholders are fully informed about what is happening and when. We will issue monthly newsletters and monthly Construction Working Group meetings will be held to ensure all affected parties are kept up to date as works progress.

All waste contractors that wish to be on McAleer & Rushes’ preferred supplier list must complete our MAR-054W waste contractor approval questionnaire in full.
These questionnaires are designed to help McAleer & Rushe Ltd assess the Health, Safety and Environmental credentials of our suppliers and to ensure they can assist us in ensuring legal compliance and achieving our ambitious waste targets.
