What is an Apprenticeship?
A Higher-Level Apprenticeship (HLA) offers participants the opportunity to gain quality training and a university-level qualification all whilst earning a salary.

Our Apprenticeship Scheme is a pathway to personal and professional growth. All of our Apprentices will be fully employed by McAleer & Rushe from day one, with a contract of employment, paid holidays and many other company benefits. With a blend of classroom learning and on-the-job training, our apprentices will gain a comprehensive understanding of their chosen field while working alongside experienced professionals.
What you Study:
Our Apprenticeship Scheme will give you the opportunity to study towards a 5 year Bachelor’s degree at Ulster University, fully paid for by us, whilst getting you started on the pathway towards gaining a membership of professional bodies.
The courses include:
- BSc (Hons) Quantity Surveying and Commercial Management .
- BSc (Hons) Construction Engineering and Management at Ulster University.
