Project Description

Construction of a 293-bed purpose built student accommodation development at 248 – 262 Huntingdon Street, consisting a mixture of ensuite and studios. The new build structure will span 7-storeys orientated around an inner landscaped courtyard space and include a green roof, ample amenity space such as study rooms and a gym.

The Art Deco façade of the former Playland Amusements Arcade will be sensitively retained and refurbished to act as the main entrance to the development.

The Site

Located on a prominent corner between Huntingdon Street and Perth Street, strategically located in close proximity to Nottingham Trent University and in walking distance to the city’s main restaurants and amenities in the centre.

The site was previously occupied by the Playland Amusements Arcade decades ago, of which its Art Deco frontage is being retained, and more recently was occupied as a Halfords store.

Our dedicated team of experts, from the initial design concept to final completion.
