Project Description

The project involved the construction of a new 13 storey residential building which was constructed off an existing new build basement box, enveloped with a profiled terracotta façade design. The modern development provides 100 new build apartments consisting of 84 Private and 16 affordable units, and communal facilities such as a roof top ‘Observatory’ terrace, outdoor gym and reception concierge area.

Retail space is located on the ground floor, activating the canalside frontage, and car parking within the basement levels serviced with a car lift.

The Site

The scheme is situated on North Wharf Road in the London Borough of Westminster which is located at the western end of the Paddington Basin Development. The building is sandwiched between two office buildings and faces the canal in a south westerly direction.
