Construction of a 15-storey 235-bed Premier Inn hotel built off a podium slab with basement & mezzanine storey below.
Designed to achieve a BREEAM Very Good rating, the hotel will also include a 6,000 sq ft Bar & Block Steakhouse Restaurant, 5,000 sq ft of retail units and a new half-an-acre public square.
The Site
Delivery of the second stage of the Exchange Square 2 development in Birmingham city centre as the latest element to the larger Masshouse redevelopment by developer Nikal. McAleer & Rushe are also constructing the landmark Residential tower element of the scheme, comprising 375 Build to Rent apartments pre-sold to Grainger plc.
