Project Description
The Terrace Mount development is a Hotel-led mixed use scheme in the centre of Bournemouth and regenerated a prominent brownfield site. The landmark scheme comprises three building blocks over a 2-storey basement car park which culminate in a 13-storey glazed tower facing the seafront at the most southerly part of the site. Anchored by two Hilton Hotels; a 172-bed 4-star Hilton hotel with 14 luxury Ted Baker penthouse apartments above, a 120-bed Hampton by Hilton, 200 underground car parking spaces and a third block consisting of 45 apartments designed for Redrow.
The Hilton Hotel contains contemporary business and leisure amenities; a heated indoor pool, a sky bar on the 8th floor, 24-hour fitness centre and spa, a range of meeting and conference rooms, an executive lounge and large ballroom.
The Ted Baker apartments are the first of their kind in the UK.
The Site
Located in a mainly residential area near to Bournemouth town centre and just five minutes’ walk from the beach and bustling promenade. The complex development has a dramatic ground level difference of over 21m from top to bottom and redefines the coastal resort’s skyline.
