Project Description

The design and construction of one 7/8-storey building, and one 5-storey building, to provide a total of 102 private luxury residential apartments above a 340m2 commercial floor space at ground floor level on Monck Street. Associated basement works to provide 56 dedicated car parking spaces and 204 cycle parking and mechanical plant space. The apartments are designed to “Lifetimes Homes Standards” and “Code for Sustainable Homes” Level 4.

The development includes private outdoor space and a landscaped residents roof terrace and lounge which afford unrivalled views of the Houses of Parliament and other iconic landmarks. Many of the stunning apartments benefit from winter gardens or balconies.

Design Story

Primarily faced in a buff brick, chosen to complement the existing fabric of the local area, the facades have been cleverly punctuated through subtle detailing within the brick and the use of dominant vertical elements containing enclosed private winter gardens.

The inclusion of floor to ceiling windows help flood the living areas with natural light.
