In July, four members of the McAleer & Rushe leadership team – Paul Donnelly, Eamon Higgins, Emmett McGinley, and Darragh Greenan – took on the incredible challenge of cycling the length of Ireland, from Mizen Head to Malin Head.
Joined along the way by Randal McAllister who took on the onerous support van role, and colleague Angus Monteith, Development Director at MRP, the team covered almost 400 miles in just 3½ days – and that was after a 350-mile van journey simply to reach the starting point at Ireland’s southern tip.
Going the extra mile, or in this case, 400 miles, the team completed the challenge in aid of Charis Cancer Care, a Cookstown-based charity that provides holistic and complementary therapies to individuals and families affected by cancer. All services are offered completely free of charge, making fundraising efforts like this essential to sustaining their vital work.
Thanks to the incredible support from staff, friends, clients, and families, we are proud to have raised an outstanding £10,000 for Charis Cancer Care.
“Charis Cancer Care is a lifeline for so many, and we’re proud to contribute to their incredible work and the difference they make every day,”
said Paul Donnelly at McAleer & Rushe.
