This role will require weekly travel to the UK

Reporting to the M&E Manager, as a Graduate M&E Coordinator you will manage the M&E elements for allocated projects from the pre-construction phase through to commissioning and final handover.

Main Responsibilities

  • Assist with managing Mechanical & Electrical elements of live projects from tender to on-site installation.
  • Assist with coordinating any temporary M&E services required.
  • Working with designers, sub-contractors, and consultants to develop the M&E installation and commissioning programmes.
  • Liaising with clients, suppliers and third parties as appropriate.
  • Assist the Commercial and Project Management team on various aspects relevant to the role.
  • Attend regular meetings to ensure the construction, installation and commissioning works are developing as planned.
  • Ensuring the installation and commissioning works are managed in accordance with the relevant quality procedures.
  • Assist with the management of the installation of the utilities: gas, water, electric and fibres.
  • Ensure coordination of all works is in accordance with Health & Safety requirements including onsite permit systems.
  • Assist with providing M&E technical input and advice for live projects and tenders.
  • Collating relevant documentation for the operation and maintenance manuals for handover.
  • Introducing improvements and innovations where appropriate.
  • Any other duties as required by management

Education/Experience

  • Must be on track to complete/ have completed a Degree/ HND in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or other relevant discipline.
  • A minimum of 1 year’s relevant experience

  • A current valid CSR / CSCS Card.
  • Strong Communication skills (Written & Oral).
  • Good time management skills.
  • Able to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Self-motivated with a drive to achieve results.
  • IT literate with a sound knowledge of Microsoft Office packages and AutoCAD.
  • Flexibility with regards to site location within the UK and Ireland.
  • Candidates should have the appropriate work permit or the right to work in the UK
