About the Role

Our QA Department provides group-wide services to McAleer & Rushe Contracts UK Ltd and extended groups. Reporting to the QA Director, as Quality Manager your role will include assistance with project specific quality inspection and test plans and carrying out regular Quality audits. The Quality Manager will collaborate with our project teams to ensure high standards are maintained.

Main Responsibilities

• Provide technical quality-related advice and support the project teams and supply
• Plan and conduct regular audits of project quality control practices and
• Monitor quality performance and trends and identify company-wide preventative
• Participate in post-project reviews and lessons-learned
• Develop continuous improvement practices including Quality alerts, communication and knowledge
• Provide quality-related training & briefings to support staff
• Monitor the project performance in completion of corrective & preventative actions and closure of NCR’s.
• Promote a culture of continuous improvement in relation to
• Any other duties as required by management.

Essential Criteria

• At least 2 years’ experience of working in the Construction industry
• Excellent communication skills
• Good organisational and time management skills
• Ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines
• Critical thinking
• Attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Demonstrates a professional, collaborative and respectful approach
• Ability to build and maintain positive working relationships

• Right to work in the UK

Desirable Criteria

• Demonstrate experience and knowledge of using RDrive
• A member of a Construction related professional body e.g. CIOB, RICS etc.
