As one of the UK’s largest design and build construction companies McAleer & Rushe is proud to partner with and become a Company Supporter of The Lighthouse Construction Industry Charity, which aims to help improve workforce welfare and wellbeing for this generation and the next.

The Lighthouse Club is the only charity across the UK and Ireland that provides emotional, physical and financial wellbeing support to the construction community and their families. This support includes a wide range of resources to assist those in the industry, including a free and confidential 24/7 Construction Industry Helpline, a text HARDHAT support service which provides one-to-one support for well-being issues and the Self Support App that provides information, advice and guidance on a number of wellbeing issues.

Announcing the partnership, Catherine Higgins, HR Manager of McAleer & Rushe said:

“Our employees are integral to the success of our business and we are fully committed to supporting our workforce and their families in any way we can. The pressures and challenges in today’s society can become overwhelming and, we as an employer are continuously building on the resources we provide to our staff, such as Wellbeing app platforms and Mental Health awareness training. With the help of The Lighthouse Club, we hope to further offer staff and their families the tools and services they may need to support their physical and mental wellbeing.”

Bill Hill, CEO of The Lighthouse Charity adds:

“We are delighted to have McAleer & Rushe on board as one of our valued company supporters, with not only their financial support but also their support in spreading the word about all of our charitable services and ensuring that people can access the help they need.”
