We understand the important role the Construction industry has to play to address the Climate Emergency and in conjunction with World Environment Day, we launch our approach and commitments to tackling this issue which includes our long-term carbon reduction targets.
McAleer & Rushe pledge to the following targets:
• To reduce our scope 1 & 2 emissions by 50% by 2030 based on a verified Science Based Targets approach
• To become Net Zero as a business by 2045
As a ConstructZero Champion, we will continue to build upon our previous carbon reduction efforts, with our key focuses moving forward; reducing our direct emissions, expanding our scope 3 reporting, and collaborating with our supply chain to reduce embodied carbon.
We are proud of our teams ongoing efforts to protect and enhance the environment, and we will continue to encourage and empower our staff with the necessary tools for this proactive culture to become second-nature to everyone in the company.
